Celebrate 100 Years of Latinos/as in Lorain! September 15 - October 30

Come celebrate 100 years of Latinos/as in Lorain! The Latino History Project is a public history partnership of El Centro, the Lorain Historical Society, Oberlin College, and leaders in the community with the overarching goal of gathering and preserving the history of the Latino community in Lorain through collecting oral histories, archival materials, and artifacts. This FREE first exhibit will focus on Vine Avenue as one of the legendary hotspots representing Latino history in Lorain. Please join us as we present this historic exhibit! Special exhibit hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Also, the exhibit will be opened on Wednesday, September 15 in recognition of the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month.
